What We Do

The Kansas City Trauma Response Network (KCTRN) provides trauma treatment services and education for the greater Kansas City area following natural and man-made disasters. Pro bono, charitable work in the local community.

Our volunteers are EMDR trained and licensed clinicians who share their time and expertise to help people return to adaptive functioning after experiencing natural and man-made disasters.  In support of our mission, our goals are to:

  • Provide up to six (6) pro bono sessions of EMDR treatment per individual affected by natural and man-made disasters,

  • Make referrals to other appropriate services,

  • Collaborate and provide trauma services with and for first responders,

  • Educate community organizations about the psychological impact of trauma and the effectiveness of EMDR in disaster relief efforts.
